The association is grateful to corporate donors for their support towards our mission of advancing podiatric medicine and helping out elderlies in need of podiatric care. The committee and our members would like to express our heartfelt thanks to the many people who have contributed funds and their personal time to making our profession in Singapore very meaningful and our community projects possible.
As APM(S) is a non-profit organisation (NPO), corporate donors help much to defray costs in our community outreach and assistance projects. These include the APM(S) Community Podiatry Clinic for the Elderly, Podiatry Careers Talk, as well as professional and public education campaigns.
To this end, APM(S) has reached out to many Singapore students from secondary schools, junior colleges and polytechnics through collaborative efforts with the schools such as engaging the students through internships or career talks to encourage them to take up the study of Podiatry as a profession of choice.
One of APM(S)’s current community projects; which is the “APM Community Podiatry Clinic for the Elderly” that offers free foot screening and toe nails cutting service for Singaporean elderlies from the lower income group.
The APM(S) also endeavours to produce public education material as well as professional development training that would directly benefit the local population who seek care from podiatrists.
Please get in touch with us if you wish to donate to our cause. Your support is invaluable to us, thank you again!
