On 25 March 2026, a group of science students from Republic Polytechnic visited a member clinic of the Association of Podiatric Medicine (Singapore) to gain first-hand insight into the profession of podiatric medicine.
During the visit, students learned about the role of podiatrists in assessing and treating foot and lower limb conditions, and saw how modern technology is used to support diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation. They were also introduced to podiatry as a healthcare career, including opportunities for further education and the profession’s growing career prospects both in Singapore and internationally.
The visit concluded with an engaging question-and-answer session, where students explored topics such as university training, clinical practice and career pathways.
The Association of Podiatric Medicine (Singapore) is pleased to support educational visits that raise awareness of podiatric medicine and inspire more young people to consider this rewarding and internationally recognised healthcare profession.
